ND State Fair! Who’s excited??

Haha!  This is my Husband and I at the KISS Concert at our State Fair two years ago.  We had so much fun and love going to the fair every year.  I know we were excited about taking our kids last year to do some rides, have that famous fair food, take in some of the free concerts, 4-H exhibits and more.  Unfortunately we were unable to…..

Minot was devastated by a huge disastrous flood.  The fair grounds were effected by this and had much damage to the grounds, buildings and so much more.

The fair last year had to be cancelled.

It was hard, not only due to the loss of the fair, but the many homes and families destroyed due to the flood.  I know everyone was hoping there would be time for things to dry up and get put back together in time to have the fair and give everyone a week of excitement, get their mind off the summer events and have some “normalcy”

Sadly, the grounds did not dry up fast enough to be put together in time and the fair was cancelled.

2012 is now here, and not only am I and my Family thrilled about attending the fair, but so are tons of others inside North Dakota and out are anticipating the event!  Many are making reservations of their stay while here and are also awaiting the ticket sales to start for the concerts and other events!  Who will be rocking us with their presence this year??

I know I am excited about Blake Shelton – love this man!
